The Countryside

The warm wind started to blow through my white hair, refreshing and giving me new energy. I was sweating, as all of my friends did, and my boots were cacked with the mud of many miles behind him. Horses. We've walked so many leagues I cannot remember, and not one horse in sight! Bloody goblins! They shall feel our wrath!

I and my group, the Order of Dusk and Dawn, have been on a quest to cleanse these lands of the vermin which infested and terrorised it. They were mainly goblins; small creatures, rarely reaching higher than a man's belt, with green or tan skin, with big red eyes and hands that ended in short claws. They could barely wield and strike with a rusty sword, but they had an advantage. Their numbers. How many goblins have there been, Angela? We're closing to a thousand, aren't we? I asked. Not quite as many, but still there were several hundreds, she responded.

Angela is the leader of our Order, a Tiram-Ag Elf, such as myself, and quite a powerful one. Besides being beautiful, she is quick, intelligent and with great willpower. She wielded her staff in battle with great dexterity, many a beast feeling her crushing blow. And when given time to concentrate, blinding arcs of lighting branched out of the tip of her staff, burning any creature in it's path. She is tough, and with great leadership skills. I admire her for these qualities, and think no one is better at her job. Yet she still has much to learn, as all of us do.

Blood has coated my staff nearly entirely, not to say about my tunic, I said looking at myself during a short break. We should stop if we find a lake or a a river, I'm not a hill dwarf to enjoy this sort of mess.
Will do, Angela answered, but until then, quit talking and start marching. Who knows wherever goblins may jump from.

And with this we stood up and away we went.
